Our Pastor
Pastor David Foote
PASTOR’S TESTIMONY
I grew up in a preacher’s home. One of the Sunday morning messages by Evangelist John Winstead during revival services was about Hell. After that Sunday afternoon dinner, I asked my dad if everything the evangelist said was true. Dad said it was, and I asked him, "What do I need to do to get saved?" He took me down the Romans Road. After he explained it, I called on the Lord to be my Savior.

I grew up going to Bible Camp. At a chapel service there at the age of 15, I felt the call of God on my life to preach. To prepare myself, I went to Bob Jones University from 1977 to 1981.

Rebekah (Ensminger) Foote: I was born into a Christian home, and at the age of 4, I came under heavy conviction that Jesus had died on the cross for my sins; all He asked in return was my heart, and I had not given it to Him. During family devotions that evening, I asked Jesus to forgive me for my sins and live in my heart. As a teenager, I asked the Lord to show me His path for my life.

David: I met Rebekah during college, and we were married in 1980.
Upon graduation from college, I answered a call to be the director at Bible to Youth Camp, the camp I attended when I was growing up. We filled that role for two summers, helping out in my Dad’s church and Christian school during the school year between camp summers.
For the next seven years, we lived in Georgia, and I worked full-time while helping at a friend’s church and then serving at Grace Bible Baptist Church in music, youth work, and assistant preaching. I was then the interim pastor for a few months.
Baptist Temple of Franklin, PA, contacted me in June of 1989, and they called me to be their pastor in August of that year. Our hearts are blessed to have been here ever since!
